How to Get from Dehradun Airport to Haridwar

Dehradun Airport is Jolly Grant Airport, and it is 37 km from Haridwar. That distance gives you a useful geographic reference, but it does not establish a driving time for the airport-to-city journey.

For the hotel leg, the drive from Jolly Grant Airport to Hotel Park Grand, a three-star hotel in Haridwar, takes about 71 minutes. Treat this as the stated drive to the hotel, rather than as a general journey-time promise for every address in Haridwar.

You can hire a taxi at Jolly Grant Airport, or consider a bus route that serves Haridwar via Dehradun ISBT. The best fit depends on whether you want to travel directly by taxi or connect to a bus in Dehradun.

Taxi from the airport

The Dehradun district government says taxis can be hired at the airport to reach Dehradun city, with a journey estimate of 40 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. That estimate is not for the onward trip to Haridwar, so confirm the destination and total fare with the taxi provider before setting off.

Bus via Dehradun ISBT

Uttarakhand Transport Corporation includes services from Dehradun ISBT to Pathari and Laldhang via Haridwar, as well as a service to Delhi Kashmere Gate via Haridwar. These routes show that buses serve Haridwar from the terminal; they do not establish a direct airport-to-Haridwar bus.

Dehradun ISBT is near Clement Town. The Dehradun district government describes buses connecting Dehradun with Haridwar and other cities, but the departure interval it gives for buses from the terminal is not specific to Haridwar-bound services. Check the operator’s current route and departure details before planning a connection.

Confirm the destination, fare, pickup arrangement and any connection details with the relevant transport provider. Airport taxi information about travel to Dehradun city does not give a taxi fare or journey time to Haridwar.

If you are considering the bus, verify that the service you choose stops in Haridwar and check its departure point and timing with Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. Routes and schedules can change, so check the official site before you go.

From Haridwar, the drive to Hotel Park Grand takes about 10 minutes, while the walk takes about 26 minutes. If you arrive by train instead, Haridwar station is about 10 minutes away by car or 26 minutes on foot; the separate Haridwar Junction arrival guide covers that station-to-hotel leg.

For an airport arrival, arrange transport for the full journey to the hotel or confirm how you will continue from a bus stop in Haridwar. The 71-minute airport-to-hotel drive and the station-to-hotel times are separate route details, not interchangeable journey estimates.
